WeBill is a proudly South African technology start-up, headquartered in Bedfordview, Johannesburg. Born out of a desire to tackle the critical challenges in service delivery across the country, WeBill is dedicated to transforming the way utilities — such as water, electricity and gas — are measured, managed, and billed.
WeBill was founded by Ayal Rosenberg and Steven Gottschalk in 2017. Steven has built up one of South Africa’s largest logistics companies and is a serial entrepreneur. He currently owns and runs several other businesses in the real estate, hospitality, and retail sectors. Ayal has a legal background and is a qualified lawyer. He has set up and been involved in four previous start-ups within the gaming, financial and metering sectors.
